Róisín O and her new single ‘Hold On’
Ahead of the release on Thursday 19th September, RobMoro has a preview of Róisín O‘s latest single and video ‘Hold On’.
2013 has been a busy year for Dublin songtress Róisín O, most recently with a 14 date US tour this September and a record deal with JSM in Germany. This October will see Róisin take to the main stage in Whelans for a headline show on the 18th, just before she takes off to Germany to support fellow Irish musician Ryan Sheridan on his tour.
The video is directed and edited by Simon Eustace with special thanks to Dogpatch Labs Dublin. The video features cast Aaron Heffernan (Love/Hate), Mirjana Rendulic, Geraldine McAlinden & Colin Condon.
Speaking about ‘Hold On’, Róisín explains “Sometimes our minds take us to dark places and it gets hard to escape. A very close friend of mine was going through a tough time, as happens us all, and I found myself wanting, but unable, to help make things better for him. Sometimes all you can do for someone is to be there for them and let them know that things will get better one day. This song is for him.”
So before her busy tour schedule and debut album ‘The Secret Life of Blue’ release in Germany, Austria & Switzerland on October 4th. Here is the RobMoro preview of her latest single ‘Hold On’.
