Music | Glen Hansard announces ‘Music & Conversation’ gig with John Kelly

Glen Hansard has announced a date for The Helix, DCU, Dublin on Thursday October 31st.  A unique and intimate Halloween night when Glen and John Kenny sit down to discuss and explore Glen’s long and successful songwriting career.

Best known for his work with The Frames, The Swell Season and in the feature film Once, for which he won an Academy Award, Glen’s first solo album Rhythm and Repose was released to wide acclaim last year and he has been busy touring in both the US and Europe since.

Writer and award-winning broadcaster John Kelly, will discuss and explore Glen’s life and inspirations and demonstrate the power of a good song through entertaining conversation and a few choice acoustic numbers.

The event will take place on Thursday 31st October in The Helix, DCU, Dublin.  Tickets are available from The Helix and cost €25.
