Music | The Waterboys Announce ‘Fisherman’s Blues’ Anniversary Tour

Celebrating both the 25th anniversary of their classic album ‘Fisherman’s Blues’, and the October release of EMI’s 7 CD set Fisherman’s Box, The Waterboys have also announced an Ireland and UK Tour in December. The tour will see a line-up reuniting Mike Scott and Steve Wickham, along with Fisherman’s Blues band members Anto Thistlehwaithe and Trevor Hutchinson for the first time since 1990. Current drummer, Ralph Salmins will also join the band.

Fans can expect to hear the band’s music of the Fisherman’s Blues period. Founding member Mike Scott saying “We won’t be playing the original Fisherman’s Blues album in order or anything tame like that.”
