Father John Misty has returned with a new single titled ‘The Old Law’, along with a bunch of tour dates to boot.
The track resonates with the earlier work of Josh Tillman’s alter ego and comes of age based on his most recent releases. The song will already be familiar to fans under the title ‘God’s Trash’ and was first performed live in the fall of 2024.
Timing of the new release comes just over a year after the release of his album “Mahashmashana”, Father John Misty’s sixth full-length album in twelve years. The singer-songwriter has also revealed a string of US and European tour dates this spring, which kicks off in the States and features shows in Denmark, Ireland, and the UK in June.
