Sigrid, the acclaimed Norwegian pop artist, has consistently transformed raw emotion into chart-topping anthems like “Sucker Punch” (2019) and “How to Let Go” (2022). Her latest track, “Jellyfish,” developed while watching Napoleon Dynamite, showcases a playful, indie-leaning sound reminiscent of early 2000s music, blending nostalgia with fresh, carefree energy.
A new sound is evident in her latest track, ‘Jellyfish’, co-written and produced with longtime collaborator Askjell Solstrand, showcases a more free-spirited and joyous side, embodying the ease of a Scandinavian summer and the playful chaos of flirting.
After a much-needed break in 2024, she stepped away from “content culture” pressures to rediscover the pure joy of music creation. Solo trips, South American festivals, and cathartic jam sessions reignited her passion, leading her to write instinctively.
Sigrid is also set to perform at several European and UK festivals this summer, including Y NOT, TRNSMT, Latitude, and Tramlines.
