POND gear up for their return to Europe in October with the release of live visuals for the beloved track ‘Black Lung’ from new album, “Stung!”.
‘Black Lung’ has a visual accompaniment skillfully edited by Kristofski., featuring live footage from its performance at the Lodge Room in Los Angeles last May.
“Black Lung” confidently merges frontman Nick Allbrook’s firsthand memories of The Kimberly in Australia with distorted clips from the 1984 cult horror film “Razorback.”
“The verse was written by Gum (Jay Watson) and Gin (James Ireland) when Gin was getting to know his new vocoder really well. The rest of the song comes from the bottomless riff vault of Jay Watson’s brain.”
