Half Waif has shared a new video for ‘Figurine’, taken from the latest album, “See You At The Maypole”.
The single’s video, directed by Derrick Belcham with choreography by Kora Radella, features Rose immersed in the natural elements of her Upstate New York home.
‘Figurine’ is a taster from Half Waif’s sixth studio album, originally intended as a departure from her darker pieces. The album was inspired by the excitement of planning her own family and envisioned as a collection of gentle and joyful songs celebrating motherhood and new beginnings. The writing process started in a small cabin in the Catskills in 2021, and when Rose found out she was pregnant, the album embraced the uncertainties that came with it.
‘See You At The Maypole’ will be released on 4 October 2024 via ANTI-.
