Gavin James, the renowned Irish singer, has announced that he will be accompanied by two talented rising stars from Ireland for his upcoming concerts in Paris on 29 February and 1 March 2024.
The supporting acts were handpicked through Three’s City Stages initiative, ensuring an unforgettable opportunity for the artists to perform with the songwriter.
Gavin James discovered the two singer-songwriters, Dàwna from Tipperary and Jamie McIntyre from Galway, through City Stages. They are now bound for Paris to perform at Supersonic Records where they will showcase their music on an international stage.
Earlier this month, the ‘White Noise’ songwriter handpicked Kildare pianist Gemma Cox and Wexford musician Rachel Grace to open for him in Amsterdam’s Vondelkerk Church through the project.
“I really enjoyed having Rachel and Gemma on tour with me in Amsterdam and I’m excited to have two new acts in Dáwna and Jamie McIntyre joining us in Paris. I’ve been following Three’s City Stages last year and I wanted to play my part in helping them with Three’s City Stages initiative by bringing them on tour with me and hopefully opening a few doors both at home and abroad.”

City Stages is an endeavour by mobile operator, Three, who have created their All For Music initiative to support and promote new musical talents. Through live experiences and career opportunities, it aims to take them from city streets to grand stages.
