Marika Hackman

Marika Hackman has announced the release of her fourth studio album “Big Sigh” for early next year, giving fans some bonus news with the release of its second track, ‘Hanging’.

“Big Sigh”, is said to be the toughest album she has ever produced while the strong new single ‘Hanging’ deals with the end of a relationship in a tender, dissociative fever until it ends in roars and grunge guitars.

“‘Hanging’ reflects on a difficult relationship in the past and how one can trap oneself in a situation where one cannot grow into the next phase of one’s life. The line “yeah you were a part of me, I’m so relieved it hurts” describes how painful it still is to break up, even if it’s not right.”
