The Mary Wallopers have released a new track titled ‘The Blarney Stone’. The track is part of their upcoming album “Irish Rock N Roll” which will be out in October.
The Blarney Stone is an iconic landmark in Ireland that is said to grant the gift of eloquence to those who kiss it. The song and video recount how some enterprising Irish individuals have created their own Blarney Stones and charged ignorant tourists for a chance to kiss them.
The Mary Wallopers, who have gained a massive following since their formation, have released two tracks from their upcoming album so far – ‘The Holy Ground’ and ‘Wexford’.
Their second album, “Irish Rock N Roll”, will be released on their own BC Records label before the band embarks on an extensive UK tour starting in the autumn. They have also announced a series of new dates in Ireland for December.
“Irish Rock N Roll” is out on BC Records on 13 October 2023.
