Nation of Language have released a new single entitled ‘Too Much, Enough’ taken from their upcoming album, “Strange Disciple”.
In this new track, the band expresses their disdain towards the addictive and anxiety-provoking TV news cycles that have rendered many viewers helpless.
‘Too Much, Enough’ features an explosive chorus and combines a ricocheting pattern of synths with an uninhibited bassline.
The music video, directed by Robert Kolodny, features Emmy-nominated actor Jimmi Simpson, along with other musicians such as Reggie Watts, Kevin Morby, Tomberlin, Moldy Peaches’ Adam Green, and LVL UP’s Greg Rutkin, among many others.
The video satirizes the outrageous TV broadcasts that inspired the song, turning the hysteria and fear-mongering into a hilarious embrace of absurdity.
‘Too Much, Enough’ is the latest addition to the previously released singles ‘Sole Obsession’, and the frenetic ‘Stumbling Still’.
