Ane Brun has unveiled a new track, ‘Hand in the Fire’ which is taken from her upcoming album “SONGS 2013-23”.
The album title is a nod to marking ten years since the release of her first album, “SONGS 2003-13”, and further cements her position as an iconic figure in the music industry.
This song provides motivation to those who feel trapped by something that prevents them from reaching their full potential. It showcases the Eastern influences that have inspired other tracks, including ‘Worship’, a duet with José González on the 2011 album ‘It All Starts With One’. The song was mixed and mastered by Prash ‘Engine-Earz’ Mistry.
The music is accompanied by a stunningly choreographed video featuring talented dancers from the Gothenburg Opera Dance Company, directed by Shruti Ganguly, whom Ane met during the pandemic in Oslo.
BRUN has also announced a series of shows across Europe later this year as part of her 20th Anniversary Tour.
‘Hand In The Fire’ is out now on Balloon Ranger Recordings.
