Unschooling have announced the release of their debut album, “New World Artifacts”, which is due out in October.
The band has also shared their latest single, ‘Ribbon Road’, after teasing the record with the previous single ‘Brand New Storm’.
Lead vocalist and guitarist Vincent Fevrier describes it as “a labyrinthine tribute to the famous Mario Kart course of the same name.” Taking the listener on a curious, almost-jazzy journey,
The music video for the track takes a whimsical turn with dancing, odd scenarios and frivolous twists.
Unschooling, a 5-piece band from France, made a splash in the French indie scene with their self-released “Defensive Designs” cassette in 2019. Their follow-up EP, “Random Acts of Total Control” was then released in 2021, and established their reputation further afield.
“New World Artifacts” is out on 6 October 2023 via Bad Vibrations Records.
