Glasgow rock outfit, Humour, have released the video for their latest single ‘The Halftwit’.

The track picks up following previous traction from their debut six song EP “Pure Misery”, which came out on the So Young label last year.

Returnung with their first new music of the year, it is a song filled with expansive guitars paired to tense vocals to fit with the image of a character that front man Andreas Christodoulidis had in mind.

“This song was one that came together fairly easily. I decided to write a song about a guy who takes himself off to some far away place and gradually transforms into something less than human, somewhere between a person and an animal, with little sense of who he is remaining. I wanted to describe his new life as being quite sad and lonely, but also kind of peaceful and carefree.”

Humour live together in Glasgow and formed during the lockdowns in 2021. Since then they have been recording together in that environment which is a process aided by Christodoulidis’ sketches to go along with each of the songs, including last year’s EP cover art.

Humour head out on a UK tour this June.
