Australian singer/songwriter HaydenCalnin has been on many radars for a while now. ‘Ultra-Beast’ is a brooding track, slow and dark with a set of vocals to emulate James Vincent McMorrow. Some of his work has appeared on TV shows and recently the Japanese trailer for Oscar-nominated, Room. A European tour is on the cards.

Andy Shauf’s new song, ‘The Worst In You,‘ could be described as a sort of hyper-folk. The Guardian recently called Shauf an “Indie Burt Bacharach” also. A good start to promotion for his forthcoming album in May, not to mention support slots with The Lumineers.

The Alkove have released a new single ‘This Ain’t Me’ which was recorded in Cork’s Claycastle. The track is a solid start for the band who are looking to make their mark on the rock scene in Ireland. A short tour of Ireland is to follow with dates in Portlaoise, Galway, and more.
