Finnish Indie-electro duo, IDEOMOTOR, are made up by childhood friends from Helsinki. Members Erkka Wennonen (Synth / Guitar) and Kimmo Myllyviita (Vocals / Synths / Guitar ) shared a love of bands like Depeche Mode and The Cure, which on first listen is evident in their music.
Following the release of their début EP “For A Moment We Are Strangers” earlier this year, new single ‘Amplified’ starts dark and brooding, before exploding into a Robert Smith styled chorus of emotion and slight angst. Guitar driven, synth bass, and a ghoulish set of lyrics make this track stand out.
