Tara Rocks! Music festival returns this year, taking place beside the Hill of Tara on 23 August 2014. The one-day music festival will see Jack Lukeman, Hothouse Flowers and The Riptide Movement headline.
Across the festival’s three stages, other acts such as: The Furry Gilberts, Trigger & The Hitmen, Brother Shabo & The Soul Rebels, Liam Byrne and many more will join over 15 acts on the day.
The Riptide Movement
The Main Stage gets underway at 5pm, while the Stables Original Room will feature ‘Open Mic’ performances from local bands at and the Lounge Stage will be a ‘Jamming Session’ where everybody is invited to showcase their musical talent, be it singing or playing an instrument. The Stables and Lounge Stage will both start at 2pm.
Foodies can also get their teeth stuck into some of Ma’s Browne’s Famous Burgers (selling every burger imaginable from Crocodile to Wild Boar Burgers) to Japanese Food Markets and Malone’s Fish and Chips.

Getting there
Located just 4 miles outside Navan and only 20 minutes from the M50. Getting there can be done by public transport and the Bus Eireann 109 stops on the festival’s door step, with buses leaving Navan or Dublin every 30 minutes. The 109A bus route brings visitors directly from Dublin Airport to the site.
