Singer/ songwriter Emma Stevens took to the skies above Surrey in a plane recently to film a video for her new single ‘Make My Day’.
Emma gathered together a large group of her fans to spell out the words ‘Make My Day’ in the middle of a Surrey field by laying down together and forming shapes of the letters with their bodies.
Flying from Fairoaks airfield in a four-seater PA 28 at 1700ft, Emma sung ‘Make My Day’ whilst she flew and filmed the action below her.
It was unbelievable! There was about 60 people on the ground spelling out the name of my new single “MAKE MY DAY EM!❤” – it was amazing because we could see it from 1700 ft in the air. It was very windy but we managed to get footage of me serenading my home town from the sky. I was totally blown away (not only by the wind!) but by the wonderful support I had on the ground. It was an incredible day!”
Emma has also decided to use this opportunity to not only promote her single but to help out a local charity too.
I am donating a pound per person who took part in the video to Surrey Wildlife Trust and one kind letter volunteer has offered to double my donation!”
‘Make My Day’ is set to be released on the 25 August, with Emma’s second album due for release in October.
