Cork four-piece noise pop outfit Hags have débuted their single ‘Leave’, which is also their first release.
On first listen, it’s likable alt-rock with pop sensibilities. Lasting for just over three minutes, this single doesn’t feel that long in truth, it has got the vibe of ‘Get in, get out, job done.’. Textbook alt-rock by the guys. Sure to be even better live. Roll on more singles in August and November ahead of an LP in early 2015.
The track was recorded and mixed by Chris Somers at OneChanceOut Studios and mastered by Ruairi O’Flaherty at Whisper & Shout, Los Angeles.
