Red Queen Contest released their self-titled debut album in October 2013. Now they’re back to release their latest single ‘One And The Same’ on Friday 1 July. The track was mixed by L.A. based producer Al Clay whose credits include The Pixies, Blur & Stereophonics.
Ahead of their appearance at Light Colour Sound festival which takes place July 4 & 5 at Shankhill Castle, Kilkenny. They have also announced a show in Whelans. They play the upstairs venue on Thursday 10 July with tickets priced €7.
Red Queen Contest were also recently shortlisted for the Hotpress “Big Break” 2014 competition.
New label Zephyr Sounds have just added Red Queen Contest to their roster. They will release the band’s debut internationally in the coming months.
