Music | Ryan Sheridan calls on Irish abroad to create new video

From Australia to Zurich, across the river to across the world, Ryan Sheridan is calling on Irish emigrants to help create his latest music video.  The song, which will be featured in a major motion picture this summer, is titled ‘Home’ and the video will be about just that; what people miss about home.

Irish abroad are asked to record a 5 to 10 second video of themselves writing down what it is they miss most about Ireland.  It can be written anywhere, on a wall, a pavement, sand, paper, once it is clear and creative.  If a landmark from the ex-pat’s new home can be featured, all the better. Fans who would like to feature in the video should send their video clip to ryansheridanhome@gmail.com by Sunday 1 June 2014.

Having been away from home himself, performing to over 100,000 German fans last year alone and with a second sold out headline tour this year. His second album set for release later this year, he recently took a break from the studio to visit Braunschwieg, Germany to perform for a 6,000 strong audience accompanied by a 75 piece orchestra at ‘Pop Meets Classic’.

Ryan will also play two Irish dates this summer. He will be taking to the stage on Saturday 7 June at NewC Fest Ballymahon, Co. Longford and down in the south east at Strawberry Fest, Enniskerry, Co. Wexford on Friday 20 June.
