Following the release of their second album “All We Are”, O.R.B ( The Original Rudeboys ) have just announced they will play an all ages headline show at The Olympia Theatre on Friday 5 September.
The band’s singer Robert Burch stated today “It’s absolutely incredible to be playing one of our favourite venues again. We are very excited to play a hometown all ages show for all our fans that missed out on our album launch due to age restrictions. This will be the real the album celebration!”
“All We Are” was # 1 on iTunes Ireland, and is HMV’s biggest selling new release of the year so far. It enjoyed the best week 1 sales of any album by an Irish band in 2014, charting at # 2; only bettered by Imelda May. The band recently appeared on both The Late Late Show and The Voice of Ireland.
Their next single produced by Jake Gosling (Ed Sheeran, Paloma Faith); “Can’t Let Go” follows “Feel It In Your Soul” and “Never Gonna Walk Away”, both Top 10 hits for the band and huge radio tunes.
Tickets for O.R.B live at The Olympia on Friday 5 September cost from €20 including booking fee and go on sale this Friday at 9am via Ticketmaster
O.R.B are also special guests for Kanye West and Pharrell at Marlay Park on Wednesday 2 July.
