Entertainment | Daithí, Sean Nolan & Arthur Mathews for Culture Vultures in May

Culture Vultures returns to the Odessa Club following last months event which featured Lisa O’ Neill, Lenny Abrahamson & John Cummins.  The line-up for Culture Vultures next month has been revealed and will take place on Thursday 15 May in Dublin’s Odessa Club.

Electro-pop act Daithi, comedy writer Arthur Mathews and one of Ireland’s rising comedians, Sean Nolan will take part in the next show.

Daithi knows his way around a fiddle as much as he does a bunch of keyboards and laptops. His debut album, he says, ‘will be full of bangers’.

Arthur Mathews has had a direct hand in writing/co-writing some of the best television comedy shows of the past 20 years – Father Ted, Big Train, Brass Eye, Black Books, Jam, The Fast Show, and Hippies.

Following acclaim and a feature on RTÉ’s  New Comedy Awards, Sean Nolan is known for his hilarious non-sequential one-liners. Sean describes what he does as “very stripped back, just ideas. No overlaying themes or stories… Nothing is really in order – it just jumps around…”

Tickets are priced at €10 and are available from Entertainment.ie
