Slayer return to Ireland this summer.
Trash-metal band, Slayer have announced a return to Dublin as they play The Academy this July. The two-time Grammy-winning band have also accumulated a number of Certified Gold Albums along with “Best…” awards from media outlets all over the world, including Kerrang!, SPIN, Metal Hammer, Revolver, and Esquire.
They also influenced many of music’s most successful bands, from Ministry and Deftones to Slipknot, Sepultura, and Killswitch Engage, and continues to earn new generations of fans while staying true to devoted followers.
Throughout the band’s history, Slayer have played host to many bands’ breakthrough tours, taking out System of a Down, Hatebreed, Chimaira, In Flames, and Clutch, among others.
Slayer play The Academy Dublin on 1 July. Tickets on sale this Friday at 10am – €39.00 includes booking fee.
