“Driving home for Christmas”, Chris Rea plays a Dublin show in December 2014
Chris Rea will bring his ‘The Last Open Road Tour’ to the Olympia Theatre on Saturday 6 December with a new album due in September.
Rea completed a 46 date sell-out UK & European tour in 2012 and is set to return to the stage with a date at the Olympia Theatre on Saturday 6 December. The tour will be in support of a new album ‘La Passione’ which will be released in September, the tour will see Rea taking in all corners of the UK before heading to Ireland to play shows Dublin and Belfast.
Chris Rea has achieved considerable success with the independent albums ‘Dancing Down The Stony Road’ (2002),‘Blue Guitars’ (2005) released on his own Jazee Blue Label and ‘Santo Spirito Blues’ (2011).
Tickets for the show in Dublin’s Olympia Theatre on Saturday 6 December 2014 are priced from €40 incl. booking fee and go on sale this Friday at 10am. Available from Ticketmaster outlets nationwide and www.ticketmaster.ie. Doors 7pm. Under 14’s to be accompanied by an adult.
