British songwriter Blair Dunlop returns with the release of his new album ‘House of Jacks’ on 26 May. ‘House of Jacks’ is the follow-up to 2012’s debut ‘Blight & Blossom’.
‘House of Jacks’ is expected to be a collection of songs that are influenced (but not confined) by his folk roots. The album’s first single ‘Something’s Gonna Give Way’ will also be released the same month on 5 May.
Speaking about the single, Blair said: “The song is a classic battle between strong and weak… or at least perceived weakness! Scratch Pictures’ great treatment of the video has brought this into a stark reality and it seems to be getting much discussion. I’m pleased it’s getting the attention it is…if only to raise conversation around a difficult and challenging area.”
