The Sugar Club in Dublin
A brand new monthly music club has launched in The Sugar Club with a unique format brand new to Dublin.
Play It On is an evening of music in a similar format to the popular BBC TV show ‘Later with Jools Holland’. 3 acts will each perform 2 small sets back to back. A 4th act (full band) will then finish the evening with a full set.
Admission is FREE and attendees are invited to bring any unused musical instruments they have (optional). All instruments will be placed with children who want to play, but can’t get instruments.
Acts that have currently performed at the first even earlier this month include: Jupe, Laura Elizabeth Hughes, Silences and Davina Brady.
Presented by Hamlet Sweeney, and instruments can also be donated before or after the show by contacting hamletsweeney@gmail.com
