Cork native Nicole Maguire is beginning to make major waves on the international music scene. Counting Damien Dempsey and Nancy Griffith as friends and mentors. Recent events have seen her recently opening for Jake Clemons on his Irish tour.
Following an extensive album making journey, Nicole’s work with renowned producer Mitchell Froom has resulted in the album “What You Really Mean”. Damien Dempsey was so impressed he introduced his record label bosses IRL’s David Jaymes and Tom Haxell to Nicole’s music – they agreed to release the album.
Her debut single will be released on 7 March, with album “What You Really Mean” due for release on 28 March 2014.
