House of Hats to release album in March
House of Hats are set to release their debut album ‘This Love’ in March on Willow Walk Records. The record was produced by Grammy award winner Pete Smith (Sting, Joe Cocker, Squeeze)
Their track ‘Across the Universe’, was recently used on a feature-length film ‘Common People’ that was spotlighted at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival. A UK tour is planned for February and March 2014 to promote the new album, with shows from London to the West Country, to Scotland and back.
Ray Lamontagne, Johnny Cash and Gillian Welch have been named by the band as influences, which might explain the comparison to a track you would expect from Fleet Foxes.
