One of the most anticipated gig announcements of the year finally arrived yesterday, as Arctic Monkeys are to headline an open-air concert at Marlay Park on Saturday 12 July 2014. The gig is the band’s first since their appearance at Electric Picnic last summer.
Alex Turner and co. will also be joined by Jake Bugg, Miles Kane and Brightonian two-piece Royal Blood who have been named as ‘Sound Of 2014’ by the BBC.
Tickets €61.50 including booking fee are on sale this Friday 31 January at 9am from Ticketmaster outlets nationwide and online at www.ticketmaster.ie.
