Music | Oasis arrive on music streaming platforms.

This week has seen the arrival of one of the best-selling British rock acts to music streaming sites Deezer and Spotify, as Oasis brought their back catalogue to fans across the world.  Their arrival is welcomed by many who want to re-live classics like ‘Wonderwall” and ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’ to name a few on the ever-growing streaming sites.

James Foley, Head of Editorial, Deezer UK & Ireland said: “Just how important Oasis were (and still are) as a force in British rock music is impossible to overstate. They somehow went beyond merely breaking records, selling out stadiums or filling pages of tabloids – they set their own benchmark for what it means to be The Biggest Rock Band in the world. They may define the sound of British rock in the 90’s and much of 00’s, but for many theirs is a turn that hasn’t been bettered since.”

The band released a few albums recapping on their most popular singles throughout their career, with the double disc ‘Stop The Clocks’ in 2006 and then ‘Time Flies…1994-2009’ in 2010 following their split the previous year.

The move to stream the band’s back catalogue is only available in Ireland, France, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands and Belgium for now according to The Guardian.
