Tinie Tempah reschedules tour dates
Tinie Tempah has announced that his Irish and UK tour is to be rescheduled. The tour which was due to start next month, will now be taking place in March and April next year.
The ‘Written in the Stars’ rap artist cited lack of time to rehearse as the reason to cancel the tour, because it wasn’t to the standard that he felt was good enough to tour with.
Shows that were due to take place in Aberdeen, Glasgow, Leeds and Newcastle have been cancelled due to venue booking issues. This means that shows like the LG Arena show in Birmingham will take place in Wolverhampton Civic Hall over 2 dates, and the Manchester Arena show taking place over 2 nights in the O2 Apollo in Manchester. An extra date has also been added in Brighton.
All previous ticket sales will remain valid for the rescheduled shows, including the Dublin date at The O2.. Tickets priced €36.00 including booking fee are on sale now from Ticketmaster outlets and online at www.ticketmaster.ie
Commenting on the rescheduled dates, Tinie said “Guys, I know it’s short notice but around this time of releasing my new album (Promo etc) I really feel I haven’t had enough time to prepare for the December Tour to make it the best it can be so I’ve decided to postpone it until April so I have enough time to rehearse all the new songs and make this Tour even better than the last one. Apologies to everyone who was looking forward to it.. April will be amazing.. I promise! See you then!”
