The Shoos new single ‘Hook Line & Sinker’
Dublin band The Shoos have released the new animated video for their latest single ‘Hook Link & Sinker’ featuring Rob Papparozzi (American Harmonica player with The Blues Brothers). The band had grown tired of appearing in their own videos, so they went down the animated route instead with a few bumps along the way.
The band were on a budget making the video, but the cost was just above it in the quotes they received “I told them I wasn’t looking to make Toy Story 4!” said lead singer Tex. As hope faded, the band almost gave up on the idea until a Dublin and Barcelona based company called Mr. WH approached the band
Tex met the two female Spanish film makers to discuss the video idea in Dublin. As the talking and storyboard were finalised, the company departed for Spain with The Shoos budget in hand. Feeling a bit uncomfortable with such a bold move, Tex wondered had he been to quick in giving the two Spanish ladies the budget, what would he say to his band mates if it went wrong?
However, a few days later the video was sent to the band, as Mr. WH had produced a video that The Shoos couldn’t be happier with, as the filmmakers had made a very artistic video.
