Music | Swords release new single ‘Lions & Gold’

Swords have been very busy these past few months. Following appearances at Vantastival, Meteor Camden Crawl and a TV performance on RTE’s Other Voices under their belt, the band have now released new single Lions & Gold ahead of their highly anticipated Whelans headliner on July 5th.

The second single from their long awaited debut album is a slower song compared to their previous single All The Boys. Lions & Gold offers us a taster of what to expect from the Swords long player with its quirky synth sounds. The single is a fine example of how well Swords can craft mystical electro pop.

Previous single All The Boys has been doing quite well for the electro trio, as it has been featuring in the top half of the Phantom 105.2 playlist of late.
