Irish guitarist Cian Nugent returns with a new single ‘High Up Airplaine’ while announcing a new album, “She Brings Me Back To The Land Of The Living”.
Nugent last released a record even years ago, with the new long player said to merge the styles across his three previous albums; “Night Fiction”, “Born With The Caul” and “Doubles”.
The initial process of writing the record came from Nugent returning home to Dublin to care for his mother, Kathy, who was recovering from a stroke and experiencing difficulties. On one occasion, she began saying: “she brings me back to the land of the living”, which would later be the name for the record having stuck in the artist’s mind.
“The songs here act as a way of processing change and accepting new futures.”

Kathy also provides the cover art for the album, which is a painting she made while in the hospital.
Expansive touring across North America and Europe, including work as a guitarist with other acts, provided Nugent with a tremendous sense of musicianship and clarity for the recording process.
