LIfe is hectic for Kevin Morby right now, as the indie rocker from Kansas releases a duet with Hamilton Leithauser.
‘Virginia Beach’ is Leithauser’s “modern take on a dark country song”, with a track that is well placed to fit in Morby’s sonic spectrum.
“It was my attempt at evoking Cash and Dylan’s ‘Wanted Man’ or Barbara Keith’s ‘Detroit or Buffalo,’ or any of those other lost country and rock n roll songs that shout out cities off the beaten path.“

Both musicians have respected each other for a long time and are going on a big US tour together this fall.
In May 2022, Kevin Morby will catch up on the tour which was, like so many, unfortunately, canceled last year and come to European cities with his band.
