Yore has shared a new track, ‘Sally Out’ from his forthcoming debut self-titled album.
Known for playing with Mint Field, Josefin Ohrn, and Ulrika Spacek, multi-instrumentalist and producer Callum Brown has taken to his latest project for a new release.
The track features MELLAH and Nuha Ruby Ra, the trio had been living together in the Hackney Wick art space known as Vicious Collective.
Speaking about the track, Brown said; “I wanted to make a track that was free to flow & meander without having to follow a traditional song structure. I added multiple layers of instrumentation that culminated into a dense & expansive palette – touching on the ‘wall of sound’ aesthetic.
With the help of Ulrika Spacek’s Syd Kemp (Thurston Moore, Spiritualised) to co-produce the 10 track album, Brown created it after several months in Hackney’s Wilton Way Studios.
Yore also worked with visual artist Andrew Raynor once again for the VHS edited video also, which you can watch here.
Yore will release his self-titled debut album on 4th December via FLAT FIVE Records.
