Ane Brun has announced a lengthy European tour including a return to Ireland for one night only to Dublin’s Vicar Street on 6 December 2020.
The dates will follow Brun’s first studio album in five years, due for release in the autumn. A new single is expected on 21 February via the Balloon Ranger Recordings label.
“It’s been a few amazing years on stage for me,” Brun says. “The orchestral gigs have all been amazing, and I also feel they’ve helped me evolve as a live artist, since I needed to ‘own’ the stage, deliver both strong energy and presence while sharing the stage with a massive orchestra. I also loved working with the Radio Choir, as the voice is the instrument I know the best, and I loved the choir-arrangements for my music. The exceptional atmosphere at the Oslo Leave Me Breathless show will always stay particularly precious in my mind, too.”
