The unveiling of the iPhone 6, 6 Plus, and Apple Watch have been anticipated for some time.  Now almost two weeks since the Press Conference, details from various Irish mobile carriers have been released for arrival dates and pre-registering for them has begun.

One of Apple’s flagship devices, the iPhone now boasts  bigger screen – the iPhone 6 has a 4.7-inch screen and the iPhone 6 Plus with a 5.5 inch screen.

New updates on the Retina HD screen, cameras now record videos at 1080 at 30 or 60 fps, sleek and rounded sides, then the colour schemes get a new set of space grey, silver and gold.

After a wait of more than two years, Apple made its first step into the wearable market with Apple Watch. It is rectangular, sports a sapphire crystal screen, and works iPhone 5C, 5S as well as the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. Due next year, It too is available in new colours such as: silver, the Apple Watch Sport and the Apple Watch Edition (available in 18-karat gold).

iOS 8 is available now and the iPhone 6 in Ireland on 26 September.
